EM Dynamics, formerly East Metal Products Ltd., was founded by James Cooke and Erling Lie in 1974 with the goal of making a global impact in manufacturing and supply chain management.
Dave Sidhu came to East Metal in 1983 after working for CEA Electronics alongside SPAR Aerospace and the Canadian Space Agency in the timely development of the world-renowned Canadarm. It follows that he brought with him a thorough understanding of the manufacturing industry, though it was his unrivalled work ethic and passion to inspire others that resonated throughout the facility. In 1989 Dave Sidhu became the President of East Metal and he currently satisfies that position at EM Dynamics.
A firm emphasis on growth helped develop East Metal into a vertically integrated supplier through the acquisition of key processes and the right team to execute complex tasks. With the correct pieces in place, East Metal’s efficiency, quality practices and cutting-edge technology attracted all of the certifications required of a top-tier full manufacturing facility.
EM Dynamics is established to maintain the honourable legacy of East Metal. The ultimate goal however is to attain new heights of versatility in the manufacturing world and to continue the trend started by a small unlikely Scarborough metal fabricating firm. Hence our ‘dynamism’ is in our nature to satisfy all of our clients manufacturing needs through vast capabilities, and more importantly, a dedicated and experienced production team.
